2025 International Women’s Day: Presentation & Lunch – Frankston City Council

Join Us for an Inspirational 2025 International Women’s Day Event!

Thirty years ago, the world committed to a bold vision for gender equality. Since then, we’ve seen women break barriers, reshape policies, and ignite global movements.

Frankston City Council and Frankston Social Enterprise and Innovation Hub are proud to celebrate International Women’s Day by acknowledging the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

This year, the theme from UN Women Australia is: ‘March Forward’.

We invite aspiring entrepreneurs, local businesses, grassroots organisations, community groups and students to join us for an inspiring IWD presentation and lunch with three incredible female leaders who will share their insights into career opportunities, challenges and the pathways to creating positive change for women.

Our panelists are:

Jackie Galloway from Peninsula Community Legal Centre
Nikki Jenkins from Gathering Tree Collective
Women and Mentoring

The conversation will be MC’d by Xanthe Rivett from the Frankston Social Enterprise and Innovation Hub.

This is a great opportunity to hear from remarkable women making a difference in our community.

Date: Thursday, 6th March

Time: 12 PM to 2PM

Location: Frankston Social Enterprise and Innovation Hub, Chisholm Institute, Fletcher Road, Frankston.
