
Dan Giovannoni - Playwright
Dan’s plays for families, young people and adults have been produced across Australia and the world in big cities, little towns, theatres, festivals, school halls, circus tents and even a barn outside of Hobart.
His plays include Goldfish and Feathers (both Terrapin), Loaded (co-written with Christos Tsiolkas, Malthouse Theatre), SLAP. BANG. KISS. (Melbourne Theatre Company), The Great Un-Wondering of Wilbur Whittaker, HOUSE and Bambert’s Book of Lost Stories (all Barking Gecko Theatre), Merciless Gods (Little Ones Theatre), Air Race (Arena Theatre) and Jurassica (Red Stitch Actors Theatre).
His work has won three Green Room Association awards, a Helpmann award, an AWGIE and has been nominated for two Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. He was an inaugural writer-in-residence at Melbourne Theatre Company, an Associate Artist at Geelong Arts Centre, and a Red Stitch INK Writer.
Dan lives and works on unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people with his husband and daughter.

Krystalla Pearce - Director
Krystalla is a Greek-Australian theatremaker, teaching artist, and producer. Her practice spans performance, education, and community engagement, with a focus on new Australian writing, cultural specificity, and food in performance.
She is the co-founder and Co-Artistic Director of Rat King Theatre, an experimental company founded in New York City in 2013 that blends theatre, dance, puppetry, food, illustration, satire, and political action to create chaotic, intimate, and transformative experiences.
Her work has been presented internationally across New York City, Mexico, and Greece. Local credits include The Dilly Dally of Death and Dying (Fairly Lucid Productions, Melbourne Fringe), The Long Game (Theatre Works), Archimedes War (VCA), Prayer Machine (Red Stitch), and She is Vigilante (Theatre Works).
Krystalla holds a Master’s in Performance Studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and has trained in aesthetic education and teaching artistry at Lincoln Center Education. She is the Producer at Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre, Australia’s leading ensemble theatre company and a Board Member for Rollercoaster Theatre. She received the Dame Joan Sutherland Award for Australian Artists in the USA and was part of Melbourne Theatre Company’s Women in Theatre Program.

Milana Markovic-Matovic - Cast
Milana is an actor, filmmaker, theatre maker and writer. Milana has graduated from Victorian College Of The Arts Secondary School Theatre Arts program in 2021 where she has performed at the Melbourne Theatre Company’s Southbank Theatre in The Master And Margarita, Almost Maine, and Fess Up!. At Western Edge Youth Arts (WEYA), she has completed the Level Up Professional Acting Development Program as a ‘Collective-In-Training’ member, and she is a WEYA support artist. Milana is studying at Deakin University, doing the Bachelor of Film, Television and Animation. Milana has acted on screen and performed in Western Edge Youth Arts’ CollectivexSonder actor showcase and Edge Ensembles shows. She is a starring actor in the DJ Fluke – Breathe music video by TMC Media. Milana has completed classes for screen and stage at NIDA, National Theatre Melbourne, and has been in several more theatre shows throughout her youth.

Justin Hosking - Cast
Justin is an award-winning actor, writer and producer based in Melbourne. He is an ensemble member of Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre and was co-founder of Human Sacrifice Theatre. He has performed at the Malthouse, Victorian Arts Centre, 45downstairs, Red Stitch, Chapel Off Chapel and venues in the US. Of his many theatre credits, highlights include Boys On the Verge of Tears, Uncle Vanya, True West, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, The Realistic Joneses and Angel’s In America.
Film credits include Snatchers, Afterlight, The Broken Shore, Crime & Punishment, Any Questions for Ben?, The Heckler and Vessel. TV shows including All Her Fault, Metro Sexual 2, The Dr Blake Mysteries, The Hollowmen, City Homicide, Satisfaction, and Tangle. Justin produced, co-wrote and starred in the short After Silence, which won multiple awards globally.

Karl Richmond - Cast
Karl is a Green Room nominated actor who trained at Victorian College of the Arts, graduating in 2018.

Karl’s recent Film/TV work has been on Together (Dir. Michael Shanks); Neighbours which is currently airing and When Life gives you Lemons (Hano Lokman)
Alongside his acting, Karl worked as a directing assistant on Moulin Rouge! the musical.

Beau Livori - Sound and Composition
Beau is a trans masculine composer and sound designer from Naarm, working across theatre and film. He is a graduate of Victorian College of the Arts and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Production.
