Peninsula Community Legal Centre (PCLC) is launching a new special legal service for people aged 65 and over.
The Centre will be offering a free monthly elder law service at its Rosebud office to provide advice to older people on a wide range of legal problems. The service will be launched on Friday 16 April 2021, and will offer private one-on-one, in-person appointments for a full day every month.
The service will be staffed by lawyers from PCLC and prominent Australian law firm Russell Kennedy and will offer advice on common issues including:
- Aged care facilities and retirement villages
- Estate planning
- Powers of Attorney
- Wills and estates
- Guardianship and administration
- Financial disputes
- Family law
- Infringements
- Tenancy
- Physical or financial abuse
- General civil law issues
Commencing 16 April 2021, the elder law service will be held on the 3rd Friday of every month from 9:00am – 5:00pm at PCLC’s Rosebud office at 1375 Pt Nepean Rd. Rosebud.
