Peninsula Community Legal Centre extended its reach into the community by holding public information stalls at Rosebud, Frankston and Cranbourne to celebrate Law Week, May 12-18, 2008.
Peninsula Community Legal Centre held a public forum at the Balla Balla Centre last in September 2008 to provide information about legal issues for residents affected by gas leaks from the Stephensons Road Closed Landfill.
At a special event held on 28 November 2008, PCLC recognised the outstanding contribution of its volunteers.

Peninsula Community Legal Centre said thank you to its volunteers on International Volunteer Day, 5 December 2008. The Centre currently has 120 volunteers, whose contribution enables the Centre to operate up to 9 additional free legal advice sessions each week, including after-hours sessions at six locations – Frankston, Pines, Bentleigh, Cranbourne, Rosebud and Hastings.
